Gareth has worked with leading quality brands in various sales and marketing positions for over 15 years. He relocated from Johannesburg to Cape Town five years ago at a difficult time in his life. He instantly fell in love with Cape Town, Table Mountain, the cold Atlantic Ocean, the wine farms of Stellenbosch, the farms of the Overberg - and so many of the other spectacular places in the Cape. He began what he describes as "an endless adventure exploring the Cape".
Gareth completed a part time diploma at the University of Cape Town's Graduate School of Business in 2008. He wanted to study further and began to look for a business opportunity that would give him a platform to pursue those goals. Responding to an advert about an internet franchise for sale, Gareth knew instinctively that he had found what he was looking for. MyDestinationInfo has provided Gareth an opportunity to combine his business school training, sales experience and love of Cape Town together.
Gareth is new to the tourism industry, but he is passionate about Cape Town, world class service, great food and awesome experiences. He will be providing quality information and updates about one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
