The Marina Rise has 91 rooms and suites, each with their own private furnished balcony with views of the harbor or of Table Mountain. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors to the balconies let guests enjoy the view from the comfort of your luxurious room. Guests choose from expansive Marina Rooms, Marina Suites, and Marina Grand Suites; you can also stay in the large Table Mountain Suite or the Presidential Suites. The furnishings are a mix of traditional and modern, with flat-screen televisions, seating areas, comfortable beds with your choice of pillows, and tons of amenities. There are also large Island Junior Suites, Island Suites, and Island Grand suites, which are located on the resort’s private island; these suites have private terraces or balconies overlooking the waterway surrounding the island.Available services in the accommodations include 24-hour butler service, nightly turndown service (with aromatherapy if you choose), and maid service twice a day. The resort will also deliver fresh fruit to your room each day. All of the guestrooms and suites have flat screen satellite televisions, a Bose audio system, a DVD/CD player, and an MP3 docking station for guests’ entertainment. There is a mini-bar and a Nespresso coffee machine for snacks and a morning cup of coffee. There are a number of media connections, including multiple phone lines and fax/computer hookups, as well as WiFi Internet access. Maze by Gordon Ramsay is an elegant, airy, contemporary restaurant with an open show kitchen. The menu emphasizes organic and local meats, seafood and produce. To accompany your meal, you can choose from among the Wine Loft’s 5,000 vintages, aided if you wish by a sommelier. The renowned Nobu Matsuhisa created a menu featuring Japanese cuisine using fresh local seafood in his contemporary restaurant, called Nobu. Guests can indulge with a drink or a snack at the lobby lounge and bar, called Vista for its views of Table Mountain and the private islands. Vista Bar also serves continental breakfast and afternoon tea. For a more casual al fresco meal, there is a pool grille called Isola on the island. The island features a large free-form, infinity edge swimming pool, surrounded by terraces, palm trees, and comfortable sun loungers. The hotel staff can help arrange a number of local adventures, from mountain climbing to shark cage diving. The resort has its own spa and fitness centre, and also offers yoga. There is a beauty centre as well. Shopping enthusiasts will enjoy Neo boutique, home to the work of world-renowned fashion designers, with its own champagne bar. There is a Kids-Only supervised program, including a space for arts and crafts, computers, movies and videos. The staff will also organize activities for teenagers, and there is a Teen Spa.
